Dubai: Dubai Police’s 901 Contact Centre, dedicated to handling non-emergency cases and responding to public enquiries, has confirmed that it currently provides 33 different services to community members. These services cover criminal matters, traffic-related requests, certificate issuance, permits, and community support services. They are available 24 hours a day through the hotline 901, as well as via email, the smart application, and the centre’s live chat services. 

The centre revealed that 274,251 phone calls were received from members of the public between the beginning of 2026 and 10 March 2026, with calls handled by qualified Emirati staff who respond to enquiries around the clock with high levels of professionalism and efficiency.

Dubai Police emphasised that providing services through the 901 hotline, email, smart applications, and chat platforms aligns with the organisation’s commitment to implementing the directives of the leadership to enhance community happiness and reinforce Dubai’s position as the safest city.

Criminal Services

Through the 901 centre, Dubai Police provides several criminal-related services, including:
• Requests for assistance
• Reporting bounced cheques
• Reporting refusal of payment
• Requests to replace bail
• Requests to deliver found property
• Requests to receive found property

Traffic Services

Traffic-related services include:
• Requesting a minor traffic accident report without injuries
• Requesting a traffic accident report against an unknown party
• Issuing a replacement for a lost traffic accident report
• Enquiring about and paying traffic fines
• Requesting copies of traffic violation documents
• Requesting instalment plans for traffic fines

Certificate Services

The centre also provides several certificate-related services, such as:
• Requesting a criminal status certificate
• Requesting a traffic status certificate
• Lost item certificate requests
• Requesting a traffic fines clearance certificate
• “To whom it may concern” certificate requests
• Payment requests for vehicle impoundment release
• Smart impoundment requests

Permit Services

Permit-related services include:
• Burial permit requests
• Repatriation of a body permit requests
• Permit requests for bringing a body into the country
