Dubai: Dubai Police has extended its warmest congratulations and sincere wishes to the leadership and people of the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

The force conveyed its greetings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Their Highnesses the Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; the Crown Princes; as well as all citizens and residents of the UAE.

On this occasion, Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, praised the high level of awareness demonstrated by members of the UAE community and their commitment to the guidance and instructions issued by the country’s wise leadership, particularly in light of the exceptional circumstances facing the region.

He emphasised that the UAE community, comprising both citizens and residents, continues to present a strong example of social responsibility, cooperation, and solidarity.  “This collective spirit reflects the community’s discipline, awareness, and dedication to the public interest, highlighting a deep sense of belonging and a shared commitment to safeguarding the safety and stability of society,” he said.

Lieutenant General Al Marri added that this level of community commitment forms a key pillar in strengthening the nation’s security and safety system, supporting the efforts of relevant authorities to ensure the protection of everyone in society. He stressed that maintaining community security is a shared responsibility that requires cooperation and coordination between official institutions and members of the public.

He also encouraged everyone to enjoy the joyful atmosphere of Eid while strengthening the values of compassion, family bonding, and social connection that characterise the UAE community. At the same time, he urged the public to continue following the guidance issued by the relevant authorities to ensure the safety of all and preserve the achievements the country has made across various fields, foremost among them the safety of people and the security of society.

Lieutenant General Al Marri concluded by praying for the continued security, stability, and prosperity of the United Arab Emirates, and that this blessed occasion returns to the nation with goodness, peace, and lasting prosperity.
