Tashkent-Born Cake Lab Brings Family-Run Patisserie to Dubai
Dubai: Cake Lab, the family-run patisserie that grew from a single shop in Tashkent in 2012 to 18 branches and more than 600 employees across Uzbekistan, has officially launched in Dubai, following a soft launch on the city's delivery platforms. Every cake is made fresh at the brand's own production facility in Al Quoz, operating since June 2026, and delivered across the city via Deliveroo, Careem, noon, Keeta and directly through WhatsApp.
Cake Lab started as a family business with one guiding rule: only make dishes you would proudly serve to your own children. Fourteen years and more than 300 recipes later, the family still runs the business by that rule. It shows up in decisions customers never see: the butter is real, recipes do not change as the business grows, and portions do not get smaller.
In customer research in Uzbekistan, Cake Lab's regulars explained in their own words why they keep coming back. “If it’s for my own family— only from here,” one parent said. Another put it simply: “He grew up on Cake Lab.”

In Dubai, that promise belongs to a mixed kitchen team. Pastry chefs from Uzbekistan, who guard the original recipes and quality standards, work side by side with experienced local pastry chefs at Cake Lab's high-tech production facility. The team’s commitment to continuous development also extends beyond the kitchen, with ongoing training and masterclasses led by internationally recognized pastry professionals, ensuring that Cake Lab continues to build on its expertise while maintaining the authentic taste of Tashkent.
Since the soft launch, Dubai customers have already picked their favourites:

• Éclairs: Cake Lab's most-ordered dessert in Dubai so far, led by Pecan and Chocolate, made with choux pastry baked fresh every day.
• Honey Cake: the honey cake people order again. Thin honey layers and delicate custard cream, made to the original recipe from Cake Lab's early days in Tashkent: the same recipe, the same butter, the same taste.
• Cherry Cake: chocolate sponge with ganache, cherry-lime coulis and chocolate mousse.
• Coffee Cake: a dessert shaped like a coffee bean, with chocolate-almond shortcrust, coffee cream and coffee mousse under a velvety velour coating.
• Macarons: almond shells in flavours such as Pistachio & Strawberry, Mint & Lime, and Chocolate & Salted Caramel.
• Tarts and minis: bright Lemon Tart, Raspberry & Mango Tart, and bite-sized tartlets made for sharing.
The Cake Lab founding family said: "Cake Lab has always been a family business, and we treat every customer as part of that family. In Dubai we found a city where people from all over the world come together around the table, and that is exactly where our desserts belong. We brought our chefs, our recipes and our standards from Tashkent, and we are making everything fresh here, with the same care we have always given our customers at home."
Alongside home delivery, Cake Lab also supplies cafés, restaurants, hotels and offices across Dubai with cakes, pastries and bakery products. A Cake Lab store in Dubai is set to follow.

How to order: Cake Lab is available across Dubai on Deliveroo, Careem, noon and Keeta, or directly via WhatsApp at +971 58 258 3388.
