Dubai:With this year’s UAE National Day celebrations coinciding with a five-day public holiday across the UAE, it is the perfect time to enjoy a staycation deal at some of Dubai’s best hotels. With overnight packages to suit every budget and deals especially for families and couples, the city’s hotels and resorts have some super offers lined up for residents and visitors.

 

The UAE celebrates its 49th year on 2 December, and Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), has created a mega calendar of events from 28 November to 5 December with activities, promotions and entertainment for residents and visitors to explore across the city.

 

Here, DFRE highlights some of the best hotel offers available over the eight days of UAE National Day celebrations plus two great F&B activations for foodies to enjoy:

● The ideal holiday destination for those who love to shop, eat and ski, the Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel’s National Day offer features a Classic Room for AED449++ or a family suite for AED749++ both with a complimentary breakfast. Each option includes money off a visit to Ski Dubai, 2 Magic Planet tickets and 20 per cent off F&B for all Marriott members.

● Conveniently located on Sheikh Zayed Road, the H Hotel has two relaxing stay offers that come with either free access to the stunning Nikki Beach Dubai resort, for AED349 per night, or a choice of tickets to Laguna Waterpark or The Green Planet, for AED399 per night. Guests opting for either package can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, early check-in and late check-out, a guaranteed room upgrade, AED50 voucher for H Bar, AED100 voucher for Mandara Spa, plus up to two kids under 12 years can eat for free.

Guests who want to stay for two extra nights or more will receive 50 per cent off the best rate and the hotel also offers 20 per cent off F&B at any of its restaurants. 

● Make the National Day break even more exciting and check into the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. Guests will receive a free night’s stay for every night they pay for, with prices starting from AED325++ inclusive of breakfast for two adults and two children. Additionally families can receive 25 per cent off at the hotel’s F&B venues and free late checkout until 6pm.

● The Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah’s Dream Away for National Day Package includes breakfast, early check-in, late check-out and 15 per cent off best room rates.

● The Habtoor Grand Resort Autograph Collection Hotel in Dubai Marina is offering 20 per cent off the best available room rates, during the National Day celebrations, with children aged up to six years staying for free.

● UAE residents checking into the Grand Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai can enjoy a great National Day offer with Deluxe Rooms starting at AED300++ per night and AED300 to spend on F&B. Families can add AED99 extra to upgrade to a spacious family room.

● Another exclusive National Day deal for UAE residents, guests will receive a delicious breakfast free of charge with an overnight stay at the Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre Hotel. The offer includes an early 10am check-in and late 4pm check-out

● Gather the family for a great staycation this National Day at the Fairmont Dubai Hotel. The iconic property on Sheikh Zayed Road has rooms starting from only AED 399++ including breakfast, while children up to 12 years can stay for free.

● Explore one of Dubai’s oldest neighbourhoods and check-in for a few nights at the Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira. Every customer will be entered into a prize draw to win credit, which will be valid for one whole year. With hundreds of great restaurants, cafes and more available via Zomato, foodies can explore Emirati dishes and international favourites at the touch of a button. 

● Aspiring chefs and talented home cooks will be able to learn how to create some of the most popular Emirati dishes as part of the Emirati Cooking Masterclasses with Jumeirah Group Restaurant Chefs. The partnership between Jumeirah Group and Arabian Radio Network (ARN) will see Chef Fatma Abdulla Ibrahim Al Ajmi, Speciality Chef at Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and Chef Mussabeh Al Kaabi, Executive Oriental Chef at the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel, cook live on the Dubai Eye’s Afternoon with Helen Farmer Show and Dubai Eye’s Facebook page.
