Dubai:No serious crimes have been recorded against an unknown party in Al Faqa area over the past two years.

These statistics were revealed during an inspection visit to Al Faqa Police Post carried out by Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs, who encouraged officers and employees of Al Faqa Police Post to maintain excellence in the delivery and development of services provided to the public as per the organisational excellence standards.

The Al Faqa Police Post has remarkably achieved 99.31% in security coverage across the jurisdiction area thus surpassing the target of 92%.  It has also achieved an average response time for emergencies of five minutes while the target was seven.  It addition, the Post has recorded a ten-minute average response time for non-emergency cases while the target was 12.

The Al Faqa Police Post has also recorded a drop in the number of traffic accidents and road deaths as it recorded 26 traffic accidents, four deaths and 24 injuries in 2020 compared to 29 traffic accidents, 10 deaths and 50 injuries in the year before.

Maj-Gen Al Mansouri also inspected the readiness of the Police Post’s cops and employees as well as services provided, and expressed his admiration of the distinguished level and efforts made by the Station; and their contributions to significantly reducing traffic accidents in the jurisdiction area.

Furthermore, the assistant commander-in-chief of Dubai Police also reviewed the workflow and called upon Al Faqa Police Post to fulfil their job requirements in a timely and accurate manner, streamline customers’ transactions, and improve business quality and performance to upgrade work standards to the highest levels.
