Dubai: Pan Emirates Home Furnishings, the leading home- grown indoor and outdoor furniture brand in the region, has donated “Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs” an amount of nearly 463,000 AED.

This initiative from Pan Emirates intended to donate 1% of its total sales throughout the holy month of Ramadan to the children with special needs. It comes as part of their special campaign launched 4 years ago to endure commitment towards the welfare of the community during the month of Ramadan.

Moreover, Pan Emirates Home Furnishings sought to cope with the national initiative by empowering special needs and supporting them in health sectors, rehabilitation and education. It also contributes to integrating them into various cultural, social and physical activities.

Mr.Mohammad Katawala, the Deputy General Manager and CFO of the group, said: the company is working on launching similar social and humanitarian initiatives every year. The drive aims to support children with determination who are considered as an essential component of the society.

Katawala stated that for the 4th consecutive year, Pan Emirates Home Furnishings has allocated 1% of each purchase during Ramadan to support

“Senses Center”, a residential and a day care facility for special needs children in the UAE.

Besides, Dr.Nadia Khalil Ibrahim Al Sayegh, Founder and Director General of “Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs, welcomed Pan Emirates initiatives and its continuous support to the center and the children with determination who deeply require support and care from all parties.

She added that the value of the support would be directed to improve the lives of orphans and children with determination in the center, hence the majority of the financial support will be allocated to the Healthcare programs, food, clothing and other daily activities, as well as educational and therapeutical support for the concerned category of children.
