Dubai: Dubai Safari Park is preparing to start its new season to welcome visitors from different groups of society and tourists to the emirate on September 27, 2021. The park is considered one of the most prominent tourist destinations in Dubai, because it offers a unique and distinct experience for its visitors, by introducing them to many different types of animals, which find care and complete attention in Dubai Safari Park by a distinguished team of experts and specialists.

Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality said: “Dubai Municipality has been keen to enrich the emirate with exceptional and unique tourist destinations. The Safari Park under the Municipality has strengthened the unique position occupied by the Emirate of Dubai in the field of tourism. Hence, the Dubai Safari Park team adds more glamour, astonishment and regeneration every new season, in order to ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors to the park, especially with the upcoming hosting of the Expo global event in Dubai.”

Ahmed Al Zarooni, Director of Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality said: "The new season of Dubai Safari Park is full of shows, events, exhibitions and activities, which combine the entertainment and the educational aspects as well. Visitors can learn about the unique characteristics of each type of existing animals, as well as entertainment shows that witness great interaction from visitors and families.”

The new season of Dubai Safari Park will host various unique exhibitions, such as the Leopard Exhibition, in addition to the development of different areas of the park, and the Arabian Desert Safari.  In its new season, the park is witnessing the presence of new animals, such as the squirrel monkey, the Mona monkey, the Arabian wolf, and the northern white-cheeked gibbon. In addition, the park will be organizing many interesting interactive shows, such as the bird show, display of amazing creatures of the world and birds of prey. It is worth mentioning that there are 111 newborns of different animal species in the Safari Park this season.

It is worth noting that the Arab wolves area has been expanded with 10,000 square meters, which contains many local trees and plants, in addition to the formation of sand dunes and water, due to the importance of creating a suitable environment for these animals. This area is considered the largest island, sheltering the Arabian wolves, as Dubai Safari Park embraces two groups of Arab wolves, and through which it aims to establish an animal welfare program, in cooperation with various institutions in the region.

The park provides an opportunity of interesting times with the family members, interspersed with exciting entertainment shows and the opportunity to feed the animals, in addition to souvenir photos. By receiving one of the visit packages such as the ticket for Safari Journey Package, it enables the visitor to enter the African Village, the Explorer Village, the Safari Journey, the Asian Village, the Arabian Desert Safari, and the Kids’ Farm. Through the Safari Plus ticket a visitor can enter the Valley area, the African Village, the Explorer Village, in addition to the Safari Journey, the Asian Village, the Arabian Desert Safari, and the Kids’ Farm, in addition to the train service and reserved seats in the live shows.

Safari Park also offers the first Behind the-Scenes package through an experience in which the visitor has fun times with the animal shepherd, as it allows him to get close to the animals, learn about the animals’ habitat and ways of caring for them. The trip will be in a special vehicle with a guide (the package includes 10 people). The Jungle Photographer’s package is intended for photography enthusiasts. It includes a park entry ticket, a safari trip and a special vehicle during the trip (the package includes 3 people) and the duration is three hours.
