Dubai: Karnataka Press Club Council ( KPCC) in association with Kannadigaru Dubai had organized a Press meet for the upcoming Mega event " Vishwa Kannada Habba"  and reviewed the preparedness of the event  during the meet on 23.10.2022 at Omega Hotel, Dubai.  The "Vishwas Kannada Habba" is scheduled on 19.11.2022 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium, Dubai. 

Dr. T. Shivkumar Nagara Navile,  President  of KPCC has taken the lead of this press meet. Sadan Das, President of Kannadigaru Dubai and GCC President of KPCC and Ravi Santhosh, State President for Cultural  & Art, KPCC were present on stage.

Sadan Das briefed about the plan and ideas behind this event and thanked KPCC for electing him as GCC president and providing the opportunity to conduct this event in association with Kannadigaru Dubai. Also, Sadan Das, mentioned ragarding " International Kannada Rathna" Award to the great contributor in the field of Kannada ( Social, Culture, Art, language) from Karnataka and also, new award is added every year in the name of Dr. Punith RajKumar which would be identified and given Achiever Kanndiaga residing in GCC. 

Ravi Santhosh explained in detail about the initiatives taken for this event and the journey of effort made by Dr.Shivkumar and the huge team of KPCC team working on this for months which is extraordinary..   Also, applauded the non-resident Kannadigas for their enormous love and affection towards mother land  & language and also mentioned that KPCC is expecting huge support  to make this event a grand success. 

Dr.Shivkumar released the flyer of the event and explained in detail about the theme of the event and explained about the list of dignitaries coming to this event.. He added that this event is a bridge of bonding between people of Karnataka of motherland and non-resident Kannadigas in UAE / GCC. Dr. Kumar said, the main purpose of this event is to spread the essence of Kananda throughout the world and is happy to start this from the UAE. 

During the press meet, Dr. Shivkumar issued the Assignment letter for KPCC team of  GCC nominally Sadan Das, GCC President, KPCC; Deepak Somashekar, GCC Vice President; Ganesh Rai, GCC Vice President; Vijay Gujjar, GCC General Secretary, KPCC; Arun Kumar MK, UAE President, KPCC.

Deepak Somashekar welcomed all the guests who arrived for the Press meet,  Arun Kumar conveyed a Vote of thanks and Vignesh was the program Anchor.
