Dubai: The Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC) has successfully wrapped up its participation in the 8th edition of the UAE Innovation Month, "UAE innovative 2023". 
Over the course of the innovation month, the foundation organized a series of events and activities to emphasize the importance of innovation in humanitarian work and its role in supporting targeted groups, while also celebrating innovators.

The foundation’s participation in the annual event demonstrates its unwavering commitment to fulfilling its full national and societal role. It aimed to keep pace with the UAE’s directions and national strategies to transform the culture of innovation into a daily practice that contributes to advancing sustainable development. 

HE Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the Foundation, said that the UAE Innovation Month has served as an ideal platform to review a year's efforts of institutional innovation, measuring progress indicators, and its suitability for the requirements and needs of the targeted groups.

She added that the Foundation is committed to keeping up with successive developments by creating qualitative tools and mechanisms that contribute to achieving the DFWAC’s goals and strategies. Additionally, the foundation is dedicated to applying the directives of UAE leadership and seeks to achieve a quality of sustainable life, free from violence and human trafficking.

During the event, the foundation highlighted its innovative animal-assisted therapy and its humanitarian initiative that provides mobile rehabilitation services for victims of violence. The foundation also reviewed the "Remote Psychological and Social treatment Sessions", which uses digital platforms and also discussed its innovative smart App that won the award for the best smart application for the year 2021, which is devoted to providing service to people of determination.
