Dubai: The Emirate of Dubai continues to host sports clubs, national teams and world prominent stars in football & other various Olympic sports, as the Emirate has become a favorite destination for clubs from all over the world to organize sports training camps; top of which are the British professional clubs.

Top on the list of clubs & national teams, scheduled to camp in Dubai during this Month, is Newcastle Club of England, which will organize a short sports training camp in the Emirate as part of its preparations for the next matches in the sports seasons, as the team is competing to gain one of the seats qualifying to the UEFA Champions League after its distinctive performance this year.  

It is the second successive year for Newcastle Club to camp in Dubai following its successful sports training camping in the Emirate in March 2022. Arsenal & Liverpool Clubs of England also held training camps in Dubai last Dec. and participated in Dubai Super Cup. Several English football stars also arrived in Dubai for vacations or as part of their preparatory programs to return to the competitions after the end of the World Cup and before resumption of the sports season, based on the distinctive status of Dubai and its attraction to world clubs in general and British clubs in particular.

The U 20 Mexico, Netherlands and Saudi Arabia national teams will all organize training camps in the Emirate during the upcoming period as part of their preparations for upcoming competitions. Hamdan Sports Complex also hosted training camp, organized the English Swimming Association for the Swimming & Diving National Teams with participation of more than 100 swimmers of different age groups.

This year commenced with organization of more than 30 international training camps. Clubs, national teams & athletes of various sports fields continue to arrive in Dubai to benefit from its ideal climate, availability of the top world–class training & tourist facilities besides the attractiveness of tourist sector and the well-based infrastructure in the fields of transport, communication, hotels, shopping malls & famous entertainment centers, which have all enabled Dubai to become a favorite destination for trainings & vacations.

DSC continues to collaborate with various entities in UAE & overseas and organizers to facilitate entry of world teams & athletes to organize training camps, which have become as an eminent source for the contribution of the sports sector to the domestic income, thanks to the dramatic increase in the numbers of clubs & national teams, which have chosen Dubai as a destination for hosting sports training camps.
