Dubai: The UAE’s charitable sector is currently witnessing an uptrend in cooperative initiatives, with many organisations joining hands to amplify their philanthropic efforts. Riding on this wave, MAMOSO has launched a fundraising campaign to support the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children (DFWAC).

The initiative’s end goal goes beyond merely pooling funds for the Foundation's humanitarian projects. It also seeks to promote community awareness about the pivotal role of philanthropy in driving societal progress and development.

The month-long campaign, running from August 14 to September 14, 2023, invites individuals to donate AED 3 to the Foundation. In a show of solidarity, MAMOSO has pledged to match every donation, effectively doubling the contribution to AED 6 for every individual donation. This is to foster a sense of unity and amplify charitable participation, aligning with the noble goals of the campaign.

HE Sheikha Saeed Al Mansouri, Acting Director-General of the Foundation, stressed that MAMOSO’s collaboration reflects the commitment of both the public and private sectors to supporting humanitarian endeavours that uplift individuals, improve their skills, and ensure they thrive in a nurturing environment.

The ever-growing contributions of the public and private sectors play a pivotal role in enhancing humanitarian and charitable efforts. Al Mansouri emphasised the collective mission to inspire and empower individuals by providing them with an environment where they can thrive and contribute positively to their communities.

Al Mansouri noted that the campaign is an extension of the Foundation's collaborative initiatives with its partners and aims to gather donations and channel them effectively, strengthening its services for those affected by domestic violence and human trafficking. Additionally, it underscores the Foundation's dedication to heightening awareness about the significance of humanitarian efforts and unity, ensuring all activities align with the nation's legal framework.
