Dubai: Dubai Sports Council (DSC) celebrated the great achievement of Al-Wasl Sports Club, the Champions of the double in the sports season 2023 – 2024 (the UAE President Cup’s Title & the ADNOC Pro League’s Title).

The celebration took place at DSC’s premises, in the presence of H.E. Saeed Hareb, the Secretary General of DSC / H.E. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Shaafar, the Board Chairman of Al-Wasl Club alongside the Club’s delegation.

The event was held with participation of H.E. Naser Aman Al-Rahma, the Assistant Secretary General of DSC / Directors of Departments, Heads of Sections and associates of the DSC / Mr. Abdul Naser Al-Shamsi, the CEO of Al-Wasl Club / Mr. Murwan Al-Hal, the Media Office’s Manager at Al-Wasl Club / several of the Club’s associates.

H.E. Saeed Hareb congratulated Al-Wasl Club’s Board & players as they have the honor to meet with H.H.  Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, the UAE’s President. He also congratulated them for winning the double in the sports season 2023 – 2024, bringing the Club’s balance into eight League’s Titles & three UAE President Cup’s Titles. It is a great achievement to win the double in one sports season, thanks to the proper Directives, support & leadership of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police & Public Security and President of Al-Wasl Club. Al-Wasl Club Board’s Chairman, Members, besides technical & administrative staff and players are all keen to comply with H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum’s Directives and to convert the same into achievements that bring joy to the Club’s leadership & huge fans.

DSC’s associates organized a guard of honor to Al-Wasl Club’s delegation at the Council’s Press Conferences Hall, which was adorned with the UAE President’s Cup and ADNOC Pro League’s Shield. A giant piece of cake with Al-Wasl Club’s colors & logo was brought and souvenir photos were taken.
