Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) organised its ‘Ramadan Gathering’ for employees yesterday evening, attended by His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of the DHA, along with several executive leaders and staff members. The event fostered the spirit of the holy month while enhancing institutional communication and social cohesion.
Held at Safa Park as part of ‘The Year of Community’ and within the ‘Ramadan in Dubai’ campaign, the gathering featured a series of activities aimed at reinforcing the concept of effective institutional communication. It also sought to create a positive and motivating work environment that contributes to increased productivity and the achievement of organisational goals.
As part of the event, the ‘Happiness Meeting with Leaders’ provided employees with a direct platform to engage with DHA’s leadership in an open and transparent dialogue, thereby fostering institutional loyalty and a sense of belonging.
The gathering also reflected the values of community solidarity by welcoming several senior citizens from Thukher Social Club in recognition of their contributions to society. This initiative embodies social cohesion and appreciation for pioneering generations. Additionally, a religious lecture highlighted the principles of giving, belonging, and solidarity, and the impact on social stability, sustainable development, and community prosperity.
His Excellency Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi emphasised the importance of such initiatives in strengthening DHA’s commitment to institutional communication. He highlighted the significance of providing opportunities for employees to engage outside of official working hours, fostering human connections, and reinforcing the organisation’s core values of cooperation and transparency. He also noted that the initiative serves as a message of appreciation to every member of the Dubai Health Authority family.
Al Ketbi reiterated DHA’s dedication to integrating community engagement into its various initiatives during the Year of Community, aiming to enhance values of solidarity, connection, and mutual support, while reaffirming the authority’s commitment to social responsibility.
Mona Bajman, CEO of the Corporate Shared Support Services Sector at DHA, underlined the importance of the initiative in balancing the work environment with community engagement. She stressed that direct interaction and dialogue between employees and senior leadership enhances institutional belonging and motivates teams to give their best, aligning with DHA’s vision of ensuring employee happiness and achieving sustainable organisational excellence.
The Ramadan Gathering was organised as part of DHA’s internal communication initiatives, in collaboration with Thukher Social Club. The event reinforced community partnerships that promote respect and appreciation for senior citizens, who form an integral part of the social fabric. It also reaffirmed DHA’s ongoing commitment to strengthening social cohesion and fostering corporate social responsibility.
