This initiative, organized by the General Department of Training in cooperation with the People of Determination Empowerment Council, the UAE Taekwondo Federation, and the Emirates Down Syndrome Association, is part of Dubai Police's commitment to empowering and supporting people of determination and integrating them into local, regional, and international sports competitions.
The celebration occurred on the sidelines of the Emirates Down Syndrome Association's annual closing event. During the ceremony, participants showcased their impressive combat skills and techniques in Para-Taekwondo, demonstrating the advanced level they have achieved through training.
Additionally, certificates were presented to the participants for earning their yellow belts, creating a joyful, pride-filled atmosphere.
