UAE: The highly anticipated 5th edition of the Gulf Academy Movie Awards (GAMA) is all set to take place on August 30, 2025, at the Sharjah Expo Centre, Sharjah. Renowned for honoring excellence in Tollywood, the event is expected to be a cinematic extravaganza, featuring spectacular performances, star-studded appearances, and global recognition for Telugu cinema.

In the lead-up to the main event, the GAMA Excellence Awards will be held on August 29. Adding to the excitement, the official theme song for GAMA 2025 was recently launched at the Keinfra Properties event in Dubai. The song, written by Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose and composed and sung by Raghu Kunche, received tremendous appreciation from the Telugu diaspora in the UAE.

A stellar lineup of Tollywood stars is set to attend, including Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Teja Sajja, Kiran Abbavaram, Sree Vishnu, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Daksha Nagarkar. Electrifying performances by Urvashi Rautela, Faria Abdullah, Ketika Sharma, and others are sure to thrill the audience.

Veterans and icons of Telugu cinema such as Brahmanandam, Sukumar, Devi Sri Prasad, Thaman, Ashwini Dutt, and more will also grace the occasion.Over 24 crafts of Telugu cinema will be recognized and awarded based on public voting, making it a truly inclusive celebration of the film industry.

GAMA Chairman Kesari Trimurtulu and CEO Saurabh Kesari have promised a grand-scale event, with seating capacity for up to 10,000 attendees.Positioned as the biggest international celebration of Telugu cinema, GAMA Awards 2025 is poised to set a new benchmark in global recognition for Tollywood.
