Bangui, Central African Republic—A unique project has just been launched in Bangui: the SML Gold Raffinerie RCA, the first large-capacity gold refining facility in Central Africa.

Led by the SML Gold Dubai group, headed by Fayçal Lalioui, this project marks a major milestone for the Central African Republic and the entire CEMAC zone, combining technological innovation, financial traceability, and local development of natural resources.

Disruptive technology promoting transparency

Based in Dubai, SML Gold has established itself as a leading player in the certification, trading, and secure storage of precious metals.

Under the leadership of Fayçal Lalioui, the group developed the GIFT (Gold International Fast Transfer) system, a blockchain-based traceability technology.

This system guarantees complete tracking of gold from extraction to banking certification, thus ensuring complete transparency for national and regional authorities, particularly the BEAC.

The project also complies with international environmental and social standards, closely involving local communities in the economic benefits.

"By laying this first stone, we are also laying the foundations for a future where Africa's natural resources become drivers of shared prosperity," said Fayçal Lalioui during the official ceremony.
