Dubai: Continuing its 11th year, the Beyond October Cancer Awareness Campaign spearheaded by Dubai based senior journalist and media personality, Manju Ramanan will be held at Daftar DIFC on October 30, 2025 this year.

It is generously supported by DAFTAR AT DIFC that is playing host to the event, Innara by Guddi Bajaj, Playfield Entertainment, Enchanteur, JYK and Teejay Packers. Our media partners are the Zee Group, 100.3 Talk FM, Khaleej Times Newspaper and WKND Magazine. From India we have been supported by The Glitz magazine, spearheaded by Sumita Chakraborty.

The platform encourages women with cancer to share their stories with the audience and aims to build a sense of community within them. “ Over the last decade of the campaign, we have lost a few cancer warrior friends such as Asma Nabeel and recently Sharon Baloche but we salute their indomitable spirit and their intense fight against cancer,” says Manju Ramanan, Founder of Beyond October.

This year the event is called ‘No One Walks Alone,’ wherein we commemorate the work done by friends and family who have helped support cancer warriors. Like each year, the platform encourages cancer warriors to share their stories to the world to raise awareness of the disease.

Beyond October like its name is a year long initiative though the events are done in the Pink month of October. Together it aims at building a community that has stories from the resilient cancer warrior community while sensitizing the audience towards the lives of cancer warriors.
