Dubai: The Positive Spirit Council, in cooperation with strategic partners, organised the ‘Your Voice is Heard’ initiative as part of the ‘Al Satwa Community Forum’. This forum is part of a series of events and gatherings aimed at strengthening direct communication with community members and listening to their observations, opinions, and suggestions regarding community services and initiatives. This effort reflects the Dubai Police's commitment to fostering a culture of community partnership and enhancing the quality of life and happiness of residents.

The initiative saw the participation and engagement of several specialised departments at Dubai Police. These included the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, the General Department of Human Rights, the General Department of Police Stations – represented by the Victim Support Centre and Bur Dubai Police Station – the General Department of Traffic, and the General Department of Community Happiness – represented by the Security Awareness Department.

The initiative provided a direct community platform that allowed Al Satwa residents to share their observations, ask questions, and discuss their needs. This contributes to the development of community and security services in line with the needs and aspirations of community members, while also enhancing security and social awareness and reinforcing the concepts of community security .

It is worth noting that the ‘Your Voice is Heard’ initiative is part of the Positive Spirit Council's ongoing efforts to support community initiatives aimed at fostering closeness between community members and service and security entities, building bridges of trust and joint cooperation. This reflects Dubai's vision of building a happier, more cohesive, and safer community.
