Patrol 512: Dubai Police’s Fastest Responders in 2020

Dubai: The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, has recently honoured police officers of patrol ‘512’ who achieved an emergency response time of one minute and 17 seconds in Al Muraqqabat Police Station jurisdiction area, while the targeted response time was two minutes and 48 seconds, thus achieving the highest response rate among Dubai Police's stations in 2020.

The honouring ceremony was attended by Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Brigadier Ali Ghanim, Director of Al Muraqabat Police Station; Colonel Issa Ahmed Salem, Deputy Director of Al Muraqabat Police Station, and a number of Dubai Police officers.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri praised the results achieved and efforts exerted by the station's employees, affirming that the result reflects the Dubai Police's keenness on responding quickly to various emergency incidents and criminal reports, in order to achieve its strategy of making Dubai a safe city and the world’s best destination to live, work and visit. 

He also encouraged the Station's employees to continue work with high efficiency and effectiveness towards enhancing the security and safety of the emirate, indicating that the honouring comes within the framework of the Dubai Police General Command's keenness on motivating and recognizing the efforts of its employees to enhance security, safety and community happiness.

Brigadier Ali Ghanem said that this achievement is a result of the wise directives of His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and the exerted efforts by the Station's employees through carrying out initiatives, setting up plans and scenarios, and the effective deployment of patrols across the jurisdiction area, which covers 12 zones. 

The honorees extended their thanks to the Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police stressing that this gesture is a badge of honour on their chests and an incentive for them to exert more efforts in the future.
