Al Barsha Police Station scores 99% on Customer Happiness Index
Dubai: An overwhelming majority of customers at Al Barsha Police Station were satisfied with the professionalism of employees and services provided by the Station in 2020, an annual inspection report showed.
 
The report was released by Dubai Police during an annual inspection conducted by Expert Major General Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs at Dubai Police; in the presence of Brigadier Abdulrahim bin Shafie, director of Al Barsha Police Station, and a number of Dubai Police senior officers and employees.
 
Maj. Gen. Al Mansouri reviewed the Station’s strategic indicators, namely the security coverage provided across the area of jurisdiction indicator, which reached 100% in 2020. Similarly, the Station’s indicator regarding the duty officer’s presence at reporting sites indicator reached 100%.
 
The average response time for emergency cases indicator was just 4:41 minutes, and the target was seven minutes. Meanwhile, the average response time for non-emergency cases indicator was just 12:41 minutes, and the target was 15 minutes.
 
It is worth noting that Al Barsha Police Station has launched several training programmes and developed plans to enhance their emergency response. Consequently, the Station’s has recorded an average response time of 2:19 minutes this year. 
 
Maj. Gen. Al Mansouri was also briefed on the security programmes implemented by Al Barsha Police Station in the jurisdiction area.  He also praised the efforts exerted by the Station’s Cheques Division as they amicably settled cheques worth about 264 million dirhams in 2020 compared to 517 million dirhams settled in 2019. 
 
Maj. Gen. Al Mansouri praised the efforts of the Traffic Records Department at Al Barsha Police Station and their keenness on ensuring the safety of road users and saving lives through the effective deployment of patrols across the jurisdiction area. He also praised the Department for carrying out traffic campaigns with relevant departments to curb traffic violators and ensure the safety of road users, namely the traffic campaign they launched in coordination and collaboration with the General Department of Traffic on Al Qudra Road, which resulted in recording zero traffic accidents and the impoundment of 27 vehicles for causing noisiness and endangering the lives of road users. 
 
Maj. Gen. Al Mansouri also reviewed the Customer Happiness Centre statistics in Al Barsha Police Station, which processed 54,186 smart transactions and 5,813 in-person requests last year. The Centre also scored 99% on the Customer Happiness Index last year compared to 96% the year before. 
 
Maj. Gen. Al Mansouri was also briefed on the administrative initiatives implemented by Al Barsha Police Station for employees last year, which scored 98.4% on the job happiness metre compared to 93.2% in the year before. 
 
The Station also motivated and honoured 100% of its employees through various incentives in 2020.
