Dubai: The Women's Police Section at Dubai Police organized a dialogue session during the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 that brought together female SWAT team members from both Dubai Police and the Brazilian police.

The discussion aimed to address the opportunities and challenges facing women in the security and protection field and share experiences and ideas that enhance women's role in this profession.

Colonel Issa Hamza Ahli, Director of the VIP Protection Department, and Lieutenant Colonel Saif Ahmed Al Zaabi, Head of the Women's Police Section, and several senior officers from both sides attended the session. 

Lt. Col. Al Zaabi provided the Brazilian police team an overview of the Women's Police Section's functions and responsibilities in this security field. Meanwhile, the Brazilian female officers shared insights about their roles in law enforcement in their home country.

Furthermore, the dialogue session addressed various topics, including the selection process of female officers in the Brazilian police and how it compares to the process in the Dubai Police. They also explored assessments and training programs designed to prepare women for roles in VIP security and the types of weapons utilized in this field. Additionally, the session featured best practices and experiences of women in law enforcement and specialized units, aiming to enhance collaboration and mutual support.
