Dubai: In a grand closing ceremony held at the Officer's Club in Al Jaddaf, Dubai Police honoured ambassadors, consuls, liaison officers, strategic partners, sponsors, and event teams for their invaluable contributions in elevating the UAE SWAT Challenge to global standards.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Ahmad Rafi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs; Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs; Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Border Security Affairs; Major General Khalid Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence; and Major General Rashid Khalifa bin Darwish Al Falasi, Director of the General Department of Transport and Rescue, along with senior officers and personnel.

A Legacy of Excellence in Tactical Challenges

During his speech, Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi thanked everyone who made this year's UAE SWAT Challenge a resounding success.

"This event has reached global excellence, thanks to the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders. Our success this year sets an even higher bar for the 2026 edition," he stated.

Symbolic Recognition of Contributions

Following the speech, Major General Al Ghaithi, accompanied by Major General Ali Atiq bin Lahej, presented honorary shields in the shape of Naif Police Station- Dubai's oldest police station- as a token of appreciation to ambassadors, consuls, sponsors, and strategic partners from both the public and private sectors.

The ceremony also recognized the Dubai Police Women's Tactical Team and the Dubai Police Academy Cadet Tactical Team, who competed in the challenge. Both teams were awarded the Medal of Happiness for their outstanding performances.

The event concluded with a group photo session, capturing the camaraderie and shared commitment to advancing tactical excellence on a global stage.
