Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by the Ports Police Station, is participating in the Dubai International Boat Show 2025 at Dubai Harbour, which runs until February 23. The event features leading brands in the maritime and marine equipment sectors, with over 1,000 exhibitors from 60 countries and more than 200 yachts and marine vessels on display.

Dubai Police’s stand showcases the latest technologies and services related to maritime security and safety, as well as their search and rescue operations.

Colonel Ali Abdullah Qusib Al Naqbi, Deputy Director of the Ports Police Station, highlighted that participating in this significant global exhibition reflects Dubai Police's commitment, aligned with the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to participate in major international events actively. “The aim is to showcase significant achievements that enhance safety and security, as well as bring happiness to the community by offering top-notch services, particularly in maritime security and rescue operations,” he continued.

Haddad
The Dubai Police's stand also showcases the eco-friendly smart police boat Haddad, the first of its kind in the region and a global pioneer in various aspects. This project involves inventing an intelligent security boat powered by clean energy by talented young Emiratis.
The boat boasts several notable features, including self-control, self-monitoring, and remote control capabilities.

The ‘Hiddad’ is an eco-friendly boat that utilizes clean energy from solar, wind, and wave energy. It boasts smart alert systems and autonomous navigation capabilities. In the future, it will enhance security coverage over water areas, support the smart transformation of security operations, lower operational and maintenance costs for security boats, and help reduce response times.

Jet Skis
Dubai Police showcases some of their standout jet skis at their stand, including an electric model and a high-speed jet ski designed for water sports competitions.

Sail Safely
In line with its commitment to safety, Dubai Police also displayed the "Sail Safely" service. This service allows sea-goers to register their trip plans and expected locations during every voyage. It offers an easy and reliable mechanism to contact or request assistance from the Dubai Police, enabling marine patrols to locate and assist users swiftly, especially in emergencies.

The 'Sail Safely' service is available on the Dubai Police smart app. In an emergency, users simply need to tap the 'SOS' button. Dubai Police, through the General Department of Operations and the Ports Police Station, will pinpoint the user’s location at sea and quickly provide support and assistance to ensure a swift maritime response.
