India-UAE Summit 2025 to Unite Bollywood Icons, Business Tycoons, and Tech Innovators in Dubai

Dubai: A high-profile summit in Dubai is set to spotlight the ever-strengthening economic and strategic partnership between India and the United Arab Emirates. The India-UAE Summit 2025, organised by TV9 Network in collaboration with Khaleej Times, will convene top policymakers, business magnates, tech pioneers, Bollywood celebrities, and cultural influencers under one roof.

Held under the theme "India-UAE: Partnership for Prosperity and Progress," the News9 Global Summit will take place on June 19 at Taj Dubai. This marks the international expansion of the summit series, following its successful debut in Stuttgart, Germany, last year.

The event will open with a keynote address by India’s Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri, framing discussions around trade, innovation, and diplomacy.

A special session will delve into the shared spiritual and cultural values of both nations, with Pujya Brahmavihari Swami of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha highlighting India-UAE’s spiritual synergy. Sunjay Sudhir, India’s Ambassador to the UAE, will also speak on the growing strategic relevance of the bilateral relationship.

“Following the momentum from our inaugural Global Summit in Germany, we’re proud to bring this platform to the UAE — a beacon of innovation and enterprise,” said Barun Das, MD & CEO of TV9 Network. “This summit represents our commitment to building impactful cross-border partnerships that fuel sustainable growth.”

Key Focus Areas

  • The summit will explore critical aspects of India-UAE ties, such as:
  • The Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA)
  • The India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEC)
  • Tariff-related challenges and opportunities
  • Emerging sectors like start-ups, artificial intelligence, and cultural diplomacy

Bollywood will also have a strong presence, with speakers including actor Suniel Shetty, television producer Ektaa Kapoor, and actress Nargis Fakhri, discussing India’s cultural exports and soft power influence globally.

Recent Momentum
The India-UAE partnership has seen considerable momentum in recent months. In April, the Dubai-India Business Forum took place in Mumbai during the visit of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. The forum hosted over 200 senior officials and investors, including a 39-member delegation from Dubai’s business elite, aiming to boost bilateral economic cooperation.

Over recent decades, the UAE has transformed into a global hub for trade, energy, logistics, education, and aviation, all of which align closely with India’s development goals. This synergy continues to open new avenues of collaboration.

India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, during his 2023 visit to the UAE, praised the nation's infrastructure investments and strategic positioning as a global aviation hub. He emphasized the region’s growing political and economic importance, stating:

“In every metric — trade, energy, employment, mobility — this region is becoming increasingly crucial. Our relationship with the UAE is one of the most positively transformed foreign partnerships in recent decades.”

The landmark 2015 visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the UAE set the stage for a new era of cooperation, further cemented by the swift signing of the CEPA. Bilateral trade and investment between the two nations have since reached record highs and continue to surge.

As the India-UAE Summit 2025 unfolds, it is expected to reinforce this dynamic trajectory and open new chapters in a relationship marked by mutual growth, innovation, and cultural connection.
