Shangri-La Goes Pink this October

This October, Shangri-La hotels in London, Paris, Istanbul and New Delhi invite guests to paint the town pink in support of breast cancer awareness month with a collection of Pink October experiences. From the soaring heights of Shangri-La The Shard, London, to the timeless elegance of Shangri-La Paris, each hotel pays tribute with delicately pink-themed afternoon teas, brunches and cocktails. Every creation is a testament to Shangri-La’s belief in beauty with purpose — transforming indulgence into an act of care, with a portion of proceeds supporting breast cancer awareness across the globe.

Shangri-La The Shard, London Paints the City Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Shangri-La The Shard, London transforms into a symbol of hope and beauty as The Shard’s iconic spire glows pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The landmark hotel invites guests to celebrate with a trio of dining options — the Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea, Pink Sky Brunch, and signature cocktails at GŎNG Bar — with proceeds benefiting Guy’s Cancer Charity.

At TĪNG Restaurant and Lounge, guests are transported above the clouds for the Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea, a dreamy celebration of rose-hued indulgence. Delicate finger sandwiches, pink scones, and hand-crafted pastries — including a Blush Praline, and Velvet Ribbon — are served with loose-leaf teas or pink-themed cocktails such as the Hibiscus Bloom and Wild Rose Spritz. The Clouds of Pink Afternoon Tea is available until 18 November 2025, and priced at £79 per person, £92 including a flute of Canard-Duchêne Brut Champagne or the signature pink cocktail, and £82 with a non-alcoholic mocktail.

High above on level 52, GŎNG Bar offers two radiant cocktails — the sparkling Hope Ribbon and non-alcoholic Pink Promise — while Sundays at Sky Lounge bring the decadent Pink Sky Brunch, complete with a ruby-pink chocolate fountain and cheese buffet curated by Neal’s Yard and Aubrey Allen. The Pink Sky Brunch is available every Sunday in October until 9 November 2025, priced from £80 per person including a flute of Veuve Clicquot Champagne.

Pastry as Poetry at Shangri-La Paris
Timothy Lam’s Pink October Afternoon Tea is a luminous celebration of artistry and awareness beneath the iconic glass dome of La Bauhinia. The afternoon tea unfolds as a sensory journey through Chef Lam’s poetic creations — from pomegranate gelée with sorbet and espuma, to orange blossom and pink grapefruit, hibiscus and pear, and nectavigne with red shiso. The finale — a delicate harmony of Greek yogurt, almond crunch, and Burgundy blackcurrant marmalade — captures the essence of refinement and emotion.

Served every weekend throughout October, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Pink October Afternoon Tea is priced at €78 per person, with part of the proceeds benefiting La Ligue contre le Cancer du Sein. Book here.

A Symphony in Pink at Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul
Served daily from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the hotel’s elegant lounge, the afternoon tea unfolds as a journey through delicate savouries and exquisite sweets — each tinted with graceful shades of pink. Highlights include beetroot hummus with grissini, pink tomato brioche with paprika chicken, steamed pink chicken xiao long bao, and a pink sesame bun mini burger.

The desserts are a showcase of artistry and indulgence: gianduja chocolate cake with pink hazelnut rocher sauce, pearl of the sea meringue with namalika cream and forest fruit, and cranberry madeleine cake with cranberry marmalade.

Priced at 2,200 TRY per person with unlimited tea and coffee; and the experience is elevated on weekends with a live piano performance — transforming tea into a moment of serenity, elegance, and purpose. Guests can book here.
