Dubai: In the presence of His Excellency, Lt. General Abdallah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Dubai Quality Group arranged an honour ceremony to hand over the six awards that Dubai Police won last March at the 9th UAE Ideas Awards 2020 and the 5th Ideas Arabia International Award.

The ceremony was attended by Eng. Hassan Omar, Chairman Dubai Quality Group, Brigadier Ahmed Rafea, Deputy Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Bin Sebaa Al Marri, Chairman of the Innovation Council at Dubai Police, and the Dubai Police's winners of both awards.

The Dubai Police deserved these awards in recognition of its noticeable efforts across all fields in different categories, including "Executive Leadership", "Customer Happiness", "Innovation", " Empowering National Human Resources", and " Promoting National Identity".

Meanwhile, the force's also obtained five awards for the "Zero-Customer" project, "Smart Alert System" project, "Student Internship" initiative, "Security Innovation Lab" project, and the "Dubai Civil Aviation Security Center" certification from the ICAO.  

In an individual effort, Major Khalid Al Mazorui was recognised for manifested excellence skills in the Executive Leadership category and awarded by Ideas Arabia International Award.

Eng. Hassan Omar congratulated the Dubai Police on their win, stressing that it came as no surprise to him, for Dubai Police is well-known for their pioneering efforts in adopting the latest technologies and carrying our innovative initiatives across different fields.
