Sharjah: Sharjah Police continues to receive registrations locally and internationally for the "Virtual Hackathon" competition, organised by the Department of Strategy and Performance Development, promoting innovation.Registration remains open until March 22nd

The competition aims to open the opportunity for people in general, and specially programmers and university students, from inside and outside the country, to participate with their innovative ideas and solutions regarding the digital world.

Colonel Tariq Al Midfa, Director of Strategy and Performance Development, stressed that organizing such competitions encourages innovation in the digital field.

He explained that the award includes two main tracks represented in the “smart application development” track and the “suggestion and development of an innovative idea” track.
