Dubai: The UAE Journalists Association organized the first edition of the Travel and Tourism Exhibition at its headquarters in Dubai, in cooperation with Dubai World Tourism, with the participation of nine companies specializing in the aviation and tourism sectors.

The exhibition comes as part of the association's efforts to provide exclusive benefits and services to its members by offering distinctive travel packages and diverse tourism offers. It also highlights the UAE's tourism potential and opens new horizons for cooperation between airlines and tourism companies, enhancing integration between media work and supporting economic sectors.

The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, Member of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment, Fadhila Al Muaini, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Journalists Association, a number of Board members, members of the Association, and a group of media professionals and those interested in the tourism sector.

The exhibition featured a variety of activities, including exclusive tourism offers, entertainment events, and raffles for valuable prizes. It also provided an interactive platform to enhance direct communication between media professionals and travel and tourism service providers.

His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh commended the UAE Journalists Association's organization of the Travel and Tourism Exhibition, stressing that such initiatives open new horizons for media professionals to learn about the latest offerings and opportunities in the tourism sector. His Excellency added that organizing the exhibition at the Association's headquarters reflects the societal role played by the Emirates Journalists Association in serving its members and society at large by providing unique opportunities and offers that benefit diverse segments of society. He emphasized that these partnerships and initiatives convey a positive message about the UAE as a destination that embraces creative ideas that serve humanity and support sustainable development across various sectors.

For her part, Fadhila Al Muaini expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the presence of His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh, and commended the role of the companies contributing to the success of the exhibition by offering travel and tourism packages and offers at special prices that meet the needs of journalists, media professionals, and their families.
