Dubai: The Dubai Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation (CID) has recently organised a workshop to raise the awareness among 24 employees of the Dubai Frame, an iconic cultural landmark offering stunning views of both old and new Dubai.

The lecture, conducted in cooperation with the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, covered various topics, including communication channels with the Tourist Police, reporting electronic crimes, the services provided by Dubai’s 901 non-emergency lines, and security procedures. Attendees also learned about the dangers of drugs and psychoactive substances and the role of Dubai Police in preventing these issues.

Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, stressed that the initiative aligns with the directives of His Excellency Major General Harib Al Shamsi, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. He noted that such efforts aim to improve tourist experiences, enhance public awareness of police services, and strengthen collaboration with strategic government partners across the hospitality sector.

“These sessions play a vital role in supporting Dubai Police’s strategy to ensure a secure tourism environment and a smooth, welcoming experience for visitors,” said Brigadier Al Jallaf.
