Dubai: The Dubai Police General Command has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Emirates National Oil Company Group (ENOC), represented by the Autopro, to enhance cooperation in the field of traffic awareness campaigns and community initiatives related to improving public safety on the roads and spreading traffic culture among members of society.

Colonel Juma bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Traffic Department at Dubai Police, valued the continuous support of ENOC, represented by the Autopro Vehicle Services Department, in promoting traffic awareness and actively contributing to achieving the strategic objectives of enhancing security and safety on roads to reach zero traffic-related fatalities ultimately.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Chief Executive Officer of ENOC Group, said, "We are pleased to extend our long-term strategic partnership with the Dubai Police, as part of our ongoing commitment to achieving road safety," "By signing this agreement, Autopro continues to support Dubai Police with its technical expertise to add value to their car safety campaigns and embrace a safer driving culture in the UAE in cooperation with the local authorities,"

H.E Al Falasi reaffirmed their commitment to advocating better driving practices and reducing the number of accidents to ensure safety on the roads of Dubai in particular and the UAE in general.

The agreement stipulates the commitment of the Dubai Police to coordinate with all audio-visual media outlets and local newspapers to cover traffic awareness campaigns and community initiatives. At the same time, ENOC is committed to providing sponsorship for three traffic awareness campaigns and two community initiatives.

The signing ceremony of the agreement took place at the Dubai Police Officer's Club, where it was signed by Colonel Juma bin Suwaidan on behalf of the Dubai Police General Command, and Zaid Abdul Rahman Al Qafidi, Executive Director of the Retail Sector at ENOC Group - Autopro, in the presence of employees from both entities.
