Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasised that Martyr's Day is a national occasion to commemorate the brave martyrs of the nation who sacrificed their lives in devotion for this benevolent land, embodying the highest meanings of heroism and sacrifice for the security of society and the preservation of its achievements.

Al Marri said: "On Martyr's Day, which falls on November 30th of each year, we stand in awe and reverence to the souls of the heroic martyrs who generously gave their lives in defence and protection of the homeland.
